Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management is pleased to announce its Boot camp on Enterprise Architecture (EA). This boot camp is aimed at providing a Launchpad to aspiring executives to enter the lucrative Enterprise Architecture domain backed by the inputs in general on EA and in particular TOGAF (respective intellectual property acknowledged) i.e. the architectural framework provided by The Open Group.
This instructor led classroom training is divided into two convenient training modules which are scheduled back-to-back.
- Module-1 3 days Foundation and intermediate TOGAF training (19/04/2019- 21/04/2019)
- Module 2 2 days Extension (optional) for advanced concepts toward application (22/04/2019- 23/04/2019)
This exit point after the first module is meant to provide a choice to aspirants to take up either just the first module or to take up both the modules. There is no possibility of anyone ticking just the second module.
Why a training program (MDP) on enterprise architecture (EA) & TOGAF
Enterprise architecture (EA) has been an essential element in the operation of any large organization as it provides an overarching umbrella for various other architectural components like business architecture, data architecture, technology architecture, etc. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) has been a de facto standard in the field of EA. Several renowned companies like Microsoft, IBM, and American Express from western world have adopted TOGAF. On Indian scene too, not only large scale private sector firms, but even public sector mammoths like State Bank of India have been following it. The government machinery is not behind, in as much as the state government of Andhra Pradesh uses it successfully; Govt. of Maharashtra is in the process, plus Government of India has also gone ahead with EA and published its architecture called “IndEA”.
These all developments have been rapidly increasing the demand for EA professionals.
Eligibility for Attending the Training
There are no eligibility criteria for attending the training. However historically attendees with background in Consulting, Database Management, and Cloud and system design have been known to best fit for Enterprise Architect roles.
